Treasure

You must treasure every minute.
Do not waste a single drop.
When you feel the tug of living,
Never let the music stop.
When you see a thing of beauty,
Take a moment to admire.
Do not let the flame extinguish
In the everlasting fire.
Though your body may be feeble,
Let your mind be good and strong.
Find a way of contributing,
And a road to walk along.
For the sand is surely falling
Swirling, drifting, shifting fast.
You must treasure every minute.
It will one day be your last.
